The same thing happened with Love Aaj kal the movie was premiering on sunday but star plus started promoting on Monday (6 days before) whereas star gold started promoting war 1 month before.
For flop movies like ujda chaman and commando 3 zee started promoting before 3 weeks

Tahir Hussain's all movies went to Zee from Sony few year ago

Zee will not do such a mistake in near future.

(Foxstar +Disney) had involved themselves in many mega flop /disaster movies from previous year :
Kalank (disaster), soty 2 (as a distributor, disaster), the Zoya factor, chappak, panga (below average),
Plus other movies like love aaj kal 2, made in China etc (non foxstar ones)
And out of the two yrf films they got till now one was a mega blockbuster on TV as well while the other super hit movie Mardaani 2 didn't performed well at the TV and didn't gathered much trp. So (Disney +foxstar) recently is in a bit of loss

Sony is best .they knows when to do premire of movies.nd how to promote them.now a days even avarage movies of bollywood like pati patni woh nd all also doing gud for Sony. Coz they knows to promote them.I notice many times they promote movies like this on sab nd pal like channal to attract youth ,kids nd girls .imo 1.sony 2.zee.3.star.
On colours whenever I try to watch movie I feel like I m watching serials .their presentation sucks
