Raaz 3 murder 2 jannat 2 cannot play on star coz before utv star merger utv shared from sony max.. so those 3 movies will play either sony max or utv movies. But not in star..

These have played on star chs and Jannat 2 airing next week too on Star Utav Movies, Sony does not have rights of them anymore.

By the way Star utilises its library very aptly unlike Sony which until few months ago even ignored hit films in their catalogue from being shown. Not only this but they hardly air gr8 classic films or even so many nice offbeat films part of their library. U have been saying Star does not know how to schedule films... Please name one film which star had but did not give proper space... They even give flop films chance on their chs.

Regarding losing rights or renewal ... All broadcasters take this call based on various factors.... Star did not lose NG Films bcoz producers were unhappy with less visibility on star network but star wanted all rights (sat, digital, theatrical) but producers did not agree... Dharma Production which u were stating was with Star but not renewed, that again is bcoz both parties have to agree on terms if either do not then diff options explored, by the way in 90s, early 2000s Sony had Dharma Films and many other banner rights till they decided to focus majorly on dubbed south indian films and reduce bollywood films.

Talking about rights i think Tips Films r still with Star India but they have given it on long term rent to Viacom unlike other sharing agreement they have which r on individual random airings. Fida (2004) aired this yr as valentine special on Star Gold

Foxstar spoiled movies like kalank, made in China, srk's main hoon na, why cheat India and many more. They rarely show these movies.
Sony use their film library cleverly unlike star by putting proper movies. Sony not interested in renewing movies like raaz 3,jannat 2 etc because this don't provided them trps. These movies are which the family can't watch together

Guess u don't know 3 of these were aired on primetime but did not give ratings but still they show it every now n then, Main Hoon Na with Colors. By the way what has Sony done with Ta Ra Rum Pum, New York, Hum Tum, Salaam Namaste, Aur Pyar Ho Gaya, Kareeb, Ek Thhi Daayan, Lootera, Baabul, Aankhen (2002), Kareeb, Mission Kashmir, Jannat, Dostana... There r many more but i stop here

Why cheat shown only 1-2 times. Same with kalank, made in China and many more
The movies u mentioned about Sony most of them arr A rated film which don't provide regular trps

Tips is with zee bro coz race race 2 and race 3 is with zee I think prince naqaab soldier is with Viacom.

Foxstar +Disney even spoiled movies like chappak, panga, love aaj kal, mardani 2. By doing wtp on star plus. None of them provided good trps.

None of films i mentioned r A Rated, all U or U/A. Also even A Rated films can b aired as CBFC recertifies for TV premiere... Fact is Sony has many good films but just does not give them screen space

Yeah, they r airing these continuosly on their ent or movie chs but that is spoiled but Sony has no. of nice films lying idle that is optimum utilization... Bhai please b fair in judging. Regarding premiere on GEC or Movie chs it again is decided bcoz of variety of reasons. We still do not know ratings when these premiered on Star Plus hence cannot pass verdict
