The best network's Malayalam GEC is surpassed by a newbie that's not even a year old, and god knows what's wrong with Sun Bangla despite being FTA, and its history of trying to be relevant is still continuing in Telugu and Kannada. Your point is just a baseless generalization and much of it are limited to a regional GEC called sun TV and not to the network. Also, Zee is not making loses, and star's loses are due to sports business which will get a turn around.

In Telugu it is trying to be relevant by bagging satellite rights, I don't know about Kannada but Malayalam has always been a weak spot for Sun since Asianet rules there.Even now movies like Narasimham and Sarrainodu get high trp on Surya TV. Plus Tamil movies also fetch a sizeable viewership on Surya TV and Surya Movies (Kiran TV) (Zee also does the same strategy) except Zee and Star all other bangla networks are not effective even Sony's weakest channel is their Bangla channel Sun will have to buy movies in Bangla or bring in a popular face from the Bangla industry to increase ratings.

Bro u must be joking right did u see SUN TV's quarterly results there subscription revenues had increased by 20% and Profit after tax (revenue) had increased by 30%.so please don't post wrong information.
