see your old recordings while new recording is ongoing or not in dish+

you cannot change channels while recording on but tell me if we can

Channel can only be changed if your stb has double Tuner and this is SD at low price stb
so not having double Tuner. Secondly the Recorded format can only be watched if the stb
has that feature to play it while Recording.

So this is new box and may be some friend share the Experinces with you..

These option are working in a DVR,DVR have twin tuner also Two lnb input in DVR.
We can't watch any other channel if record from a channel also can't view old recording if record a new Event in Dish+ also in Dish TruHd+, Both are same services,I think Big tv and tatsky + have dual tuner if u want to watch any other channels and record any other.

Well i have a dish tru HD + recorder which works on the same principle as dish + and yes while you cannot change a channel while recording , you can easily watch old recordings while new recording is going on.

You can change channel while recording is Ongoing but you can change channels in same frequncey for frequency detail go following thread
