SET India change in distribution strategy

This is not a change in strategy for Sony. After Mahabharat, Swastik Productions has been adamant on keeping the IP rights of their big ticket shows with themselves and not hand it to the channel.
They had done this previously with Porus, Chandragupta Maurya as well. That's why you won't find them on SonyLiv anymore. Sony no longer holds these shows rights.

Similarly the rights of this show from Sony would also depart after a set duration once the show ends.
Sony LIV avoids old episodes of many show. Shark Tank India Season 1 is available on YouTube. But not on Sony Liv. Same is the case with KBC. Many older shows are missing. Even MasterChef last season was exclusively available on Sony Liv. Same will be the case with Shark Tank.

With the reality shows you've mentioned, Sony owns all rights in India. They can do whatever they want.
Not the case with the shows they don't have the IP rights of.

The value of these channels is not more than 5 rupees in current date.
They want 19 rupees for such carp content of saas bahu drama...
The time has gone and generation changed now.
They should earn from ads and give channels below 5 rupees.
And improve content also...
OTT is different so it can't be compared with tv.
Network capacity fee should be below 100 including taxes.
