Shahid Kapoor to debut on TV with ‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa’

Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor will soon be making his television debut.

Hindi general entertainment channel Colors has roped in the actor, who is also known for his dancing talent, as the judge for upcoming season of the dance reality show, ‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa’.


Kapoor, who recently won the best actor award at the IIFA Awards for the film ‘Haider’, will join producer, director and actor Karan Johar on the judges’ panel, replacing Madhuri Dikshit Nene, who is taking a break from ‘Jhalak…’ this season.

Meanwhile, Colors has hinted that this season, there will be a new format that will change the meaning of dance in viewers’ dictionary and enthral them like never before.
