Forget Dishtivo India even if they start working like dishtv India they will beat all other leading DTH operators in India.

I don't think it's difficult for Dish Tv to become no.1 Dth in India in the real sense....with so much of resources available with them. With so much resource they can become as powerfull as dish USA.
But the top management is not able to put the resource to use.....atleast till now.....and even the Indian tax structure is not conducive for dth growth.
Hope the new government can do some change.
(By the way I didn't vote for the government at center.)

Dear dish tv is not a small DTH company but dish tv is one of the largest DTH operator in Asia with millions of customers in middle east, Pakistan, Bangladesh and in some other country. Has dish tv had already opened their office in Singapore for their international customers which are dish TVs back bone without international customers dish tv would have already been shut down by this time. Now dish tv knew they get very less revenue from India and the international customers of dish tv are disthats only profit and income source currently. That's the reason dish tv is not afraid to increase its channels price bcuz they know their international customers will pay any amount for dish TVs channels and services they are getting. But I heard from one of my dish tv dealers that dish tv have some big plans before 2015 cricket world cup may be they will launch new stbs or some thing really unexpected from dish tv.

Dish has office in Singapore? Is dish registered there as a doth company? How can they promote piracy openly as Singapore govt is loosing service + entertainment tax + license fee which is as high as 33% of subscription revenue?

Yes you're right problem is dishtv not only having a burden of TAX but also broadcasters are hiking their prices and dishtv which is operating in 3 Satellites (NSS 6 + ASIASET 5 + INSAT 4B) is ready to go with SES 8, dishtv suffers a lot also because of ZEE but as I already said this crisis won't lasts for 2 long as slowly they will bring each and everything under their control, result is UTV already broke their JV with Indiacast.
