Sony should not iterrupt Nickelodeon network , Comedy central and music as well as also not make colors brand so nil.

Here's how I feel it should be :-

Hindi GEC

SET (HD & SD) - Family dramas & critically acclaimed reality shows
Colors (HD & SD) - Youth centric dramas and reality shows catering to young generation
SAB (SD) - The comedy channel. It should be comedy central equivalent of Hindi TV.
Sony Pal (SD) - Classic shows channel.
Rishtey (SD & HD) - Re-run GEC.

Shut-down SAB HD and start Rishtey HD. Drop Colors name from Rishtey. Rebrand and use a retro logo for Sony Pal.

Hindi Movies

Sony Max (SD & HD) - All kinds of latest movies
Sony Max Classics (SD) - Classic movie channel
Sony Cineplex (HD) - Critically acclaimed movie channel
Sony CineWah (SD) - Dubbed movie channel.

Eliminate Colors brand. It's useless here. Shutdown Colors Cineplex. Rebrand HD feed to critical acclaimed channel.


English GEC

Comedy Central (HD) - Sitcoms only network.

Colors Infinity (HD) - English GEC.

Shut-down SD feeds. Ask DPO's to downscale to SD feed.

English Movies

Sony Pix (SD & HD) - English Movie Channel

Sports

Sony Sports (SD & HD) - Hindi language all sports channel.

Sony Sports Action (SD & HD) - Channel for WWE, UFC, Boxing and Strong man championships.

Sony Sports Box Office (SD & HD) - Channel for Football, Athletics, Golf, NBA and all other niche sports.

Sony Sports Cricket (SD & HD) - Cricket only channel.

Sony BBC Earth (SD & HD) - Infotainment channel.

I have no idea about regional markets. So am not making a list on same. But I hope Colors brand is dropped from regional channels. Regional channels like in Bengali market would require a rebrand and aggresive promotion to succeed.

I don't think even regional market will rebrand as Sony.
Already they have changed ETv to colors.

Rather than eliminating Sonic brand they can use it inspite of Sony kids, as Sony & sonic sounds kinda same.
