Possibly with Viacom aggressively bidding for sports properties, Star will have only 4 major sports channel…
SS1 HD (Cricket)
SS2 HD (Indian Domestic sports)
SSS1 HD (International Sports)
SSS2 HD (Back up channel for overlapping sports program)

SS1 Hindi HD will still be there, plus SS1 Tamil HD and Telugu HD will be launched. The plan was previously to launch SS3 HD but this has been scrapped.

Until 2017, Star Sports had 6 HD channels: SS1 HD, SS2 HD, SS3 HD, SS4 HD, SS Select 1 HD and SS Select 2 HD. SS3 HD was converted into SS1 Hindi HD and SS4 HD was shut down. I believe SS4 was indirectly replaced by SS1 Tamil and it lost its HD feed. Now, not only SS1 Tamil but also SS1 Telugu are going to get HD feeds.

I am not worried much about Sony channels. Only I want to active Sony Ten 3 HD.
I already have India cricket HD on my VC for next 3 years. So when India match is there, it will automatically active. Rest of the time I have to pay for it.

I'm already subscribed Sony BBC Earth HD, Sony Max-2, Sony Wah, need these three channels only,

If Sony Max HD converted pure Bollywood channel then this channel also important to me, otherwise that three channels only.
(Not a sports lover, no need sports channels, missing Sony Mix music channel)
