The name Culver is because Sony Pictures Studios is located in Culver City in California. Maybe this can be the post-merger name as well.

I don't know from where you took this screenshot, but I don't think the last line mentioned there will ever be a reality. Because Sony is said to have a majority stake in the merged company. And shedding the Sony brand would mean the end for Sony LIV as well.

This is quite shocking. The Sony brand was a well established brand in India. It is hard to accept this change for a while. So Culvar Max-Zee will be the brand.
