That's interesting. But what about the rights currently with Amazon Prime which runs until 2026? 🧐

"SPNI’s digital rights in India will be co-exclusive with Amazon Prime for the 2024-25 and 2025-26 seasons."

Sony Sports Networks has secured the rights to broadcast and stream all matches played by New Zealand's BLACKCAPS and WHITE FERNS teams in India and nearby regions for the next seven years

Breakup saved huge money, marriage with Zee always trouble they know.
i hope Star or Sony grabs WI and Bangladesh cricket rights as well
ECB, NZC somewhat strong to host tours. WI, Sri lanka, Bangladesh, Zimbabwe, Afghanistan boards financial crisis less guarantee every FTP on time happens and PCB Rights stuck from politics.

I believe Sony want big event like ICC, probably they will going all out for Asian Cricket Council Media Rights, which will organize events like Men's and Women's Asia Cup, Emerging teams asia cup, Premier cup, U19 events.
