I assume sony will not launch any new sports channels.

The article states......sony will integrate ten brand......now ten have 5 channels (ten 1 hd, ten1, ten2, ten3 and ten gold hd)......they will integrate these 5 channels under sony brand. So, no new sports channels.

Yes, saw it now!!! "We are integrating five Ten Sports channels, HD music channel, a kids channel and an  infotainment channel." , he said.
So 5 ten channels + 1 kids channel(animax hd, or sony kid airing sony liv kids content)+ 1 hd music(rox hd or mix hd) + 1 infotainment(sony bbc earth hd, already in testing) =8
Maybe remaining 2 are ten 2 hd and ten 3 hd? :huh

If not, it means no hd champions league this time also!  :wall :wall :wall

Guys, its NPS' SPN, so don't hope any of these channels in 2017 if its said to be in 2017 as it actually means in 2018 !!

And the kids' channel is not Animax as its already there it will be new one which they already announced last year and they have said at that time that it will have local contents as well as the much loved international cartoons more over it will be in Hindi & English both as per their last announcement !!

They have already announced last year that one more channel will be added in the hindi music catagory and now they are saying HD music channel will be added so chances are there that they can launch Sony Mix HD !!

But I will say it again that don't hope any channel in 2017 as its SPN, But the channels which were announced last year i.e. a brand new Kids channel, a Hindi Music channel (now a HD Hindi Music channel) and Sony BBC Earth HD (also Sony BBC Earth SD was announced) could be launched in 2017, but don't be sure as its SPN (Sust Past & NeverWorks) !!

I also know about their speed of launching channels,
But rebranding 5 sports (TEN) channels is not a big deal for them

They already started testing for bbc earth

As. Soon as they get Liscence they will launch it,

I think they will revamp animax channel with local content instead of new channel launch

I only doubt about HD Music channel,
Maybe that will take some time :shy
