Sony TV wins Best TV channel 3 years in a row in the Middle East

SET, one of the premier South Asian television channels in the Middle East, continues to be a market leader and has now bagged the Best Television Channel, Viewers Choice Award at the Masala Awards 2012 in the Middle East for the third consecutive year. As per the latest Middle East TV VIEW report, SET is the leading Hindi GEC, with programs like Bade Ache Lagte Hai and KBC keeping viewers glued to their screens.

The Middle East is one of the most concentrated NRI markets in the world. The official 2010 census put the number at a startling 5 million strong. As such it is as important a hub to advertisers as any city in India.

Sony Entertainment Network has two channels in the Middle East - Sony Entertainment Television which is the main GEC channel and SET MAX which is the premier movie channel.
