Is there any chance for sony channels to be removed from tataplay on 15 th December 2023

May be temporarily . In Jio Fiber Sony Pix HD, Sony BBC Earth HD , Sony Ten 1 HD and Sony Ten 5 HD, Good News Today and India Today removed.

Sony TV want to remain in DTH,they do not want people to unsubscribe it due to OTT,they were advertising in Sept it self no live channels in OTT Sony Liv,so this is for Subscriber to go back to DTH mode SonyLIV to discontinue Live TV Channels from its streaming platform, check details here

No Live TV in Sony Liv subs from October except Jio Fiber and Airtel Xstream users, so this is old news, but what happens to Sony Liv vs App aggregator Tata binge, any financial issues?

That's nice, I haven't seen Francode and Stage on Tata Play Binge. This might be an indication that they may get added

Sony has removed all its tv channels from tata play binge..Also removed it's channels from Jio Tv ..Only digital feed working for some days and it also will be removed soon..Also other broadcasters will follow it soon.. According to TRAI new rules ,no paid tv channels can be made available on digital platform

OFF Topic In Jio Fiber many( not all) Sony channels readded like India Today, GNT, Sony Ten 1 HD, Sony Ten 5HD in evening.

We r not talking about live TV Channels which r being removed for a very different reason but OTT app content itself being dropped from Tata Play Binge Platform. It is simply bcoz of agreement issues that it would have been dropped, when both parties come to a consensus on renewing agreement based on mutually acceptable terms then Sony Liv app content will be instated.
