Uday shankar had stepped down last year. Now I think Star/Disney will bid for IPL /BCCI and ICC tournaments rationally keeping profitability in mind. Although IPL has been profitable for them even after being bid for high price and hit by pandemic last year. This years figures will be out post tournament is over. IPL was the reason for their jump in Hotstar subscribers.
