They will survive. They are utilising their full capacity to show what they have.

Star do not show anything except cricket and Viacom do not have channel/distribution to show contents though they have many properties

But according to demand supply rule , they’ll have DTHs chasing them once they have the properties that viewers want

Bangladesh Rights won't attract much to Broadcasters, As Bangladesh board always sold Rights to some other Production/Media companies. Only Sri lanka /Pakistan attract Broadcasters both boards will new boradcasting deal negotiations starting in next 6 months, also Both SL and Pak broadcasting current dealing soon end with Sony.

ha doesn't mean they cant syndicate it. remember viacom18 has ipl broadcast rights in new Zealand.

also a year back viacom18 started with ATP just 1 property. currently we can say they are now the biggest sporting destination in india with 24 acclaimed titles.

Star sports too not renewed NZ Media Rights, Timings is main problem for broadcasters, early morning match airing not attracting advertisers even viewership too less.

Even though Bangladesh doesn't have attraction, NZ cricket timing is inconvenient, Sports 18 don't have anything to pull the indian viewers to their newly launched sports channel, so they can go for it. Fancode and Amazon has only OTT rights, how come they stop the TV rights to indian viewers. Either they have to open new channel or leave it to whom going for tv rights alone

I don’t think they will provide it for free much longer as they’re paying hefty prices for the rights. I’m expecting them to go behind a paywall or hike jio plans in a year or two

I think fancode has the overall rights as i heard in last WI Tour fancode chose DD sports over SS and gave them the feed on TV

even dream11 founder very close to Reliance Ind/Ambani, But they will never syndicate Acquired exclusive Broadcasting Rights with Viacom18.

Still their are 2 more Test nations there Zim, Ireland, Afghanistan struggling to attract Broadcasters, Recently Fancode Acquired Afghanistan Cricket exclusive Broadcasting Rights too. don't know later lot of Rumors claiming that Afghanistan board withdrawn Rights because Dream11 betting company.
