BCCI firstly does due-diligence checks for any bidder if they are able to fulfil the requirements that are needed to broadcast and stream the property properly... Last time during the time of auctions itself many bids were disqualified for not clearing those checks...

Correction: They don't have anything from WarnerMedia as of now... CCI haven't approved of the merger yet and they deal has to go through app regulatory approvals and it won't be until mid-2022 as per thier projections to happen.. It may take even longer as new Biden Administration is somewhat strict on anti-trust laws this time around..

What ever discovery India has to do, it has to do individually... As WarnerMedia has no virtually no presence in India as of now they cannot be qualified to put in a joint bid with Discovery as well.
