Should Sports Networks have Regional Channels?

I hope star launches more channels to better cover the premier league. Their coverage is pathetic and worse when simultaneous matches are played
Same isn't happening. If Bundesliga is going on you will get to watch One match. If you want to watch all matches. Your are gonna have to stream on Hotstar.

The issue I have is Star not simulcasting matches at times on HD and SD. Some matches come only on SD.
Now, it will be more painful. As you are gonna have to buy both SD and HD channels because of poor curation of Star.

But Sony ESPN license isn't being renamed to ten 4. It's Sony Rox and le Plex licenses being renamed
Sooner or later ESPN is leaving. It doesn't even matter to either party. I think stopped they airing ESPN shows and documentaries years ago.
Edit - By original content I meant original from America like Sports Centre, Pardon My Interreptution etc. They are still airing some football show. And Cric Info is produced by ESPN India.

Are u sure that espn is leaving sony. If yes than when? Will it broadcast american sports like baseball, rugby etc. If it joins star or it will keep showing useless sports like tna impact

No one can predict. According to my expertise there will be local version of Sports Centre and Cric Info show. Don't expect baseball, rugby, NFL. These sports rights costs a lot and there are only few hundress or thousand following these sports in India. These airs at odd times even advertisers are hard to get.
