Star focus only on india cricket which enable them.to get good profit. Other hand sony fulfills cricket lovers with all other cricket rights, we need one more broadcaster like sony not like star. Sadly sports18 following the path of star
To survive in the industry you need profits thats why now Star and Sports18 fighting for important rights while Sony is getting what the other 2 dont want

They got FIFA, Olympics, NBA, Ligue 1, Serie A and many other rights. They are like former ESPN Star.
I am talking about Indian Cricket not other events.

In that case Star has F1, EPL, ISL, PKL, Hockey, Wimbledon, Aus rights from next year, Big Bash and all
Yeah, but they don't air any of those properties properly. They give air time to highlights on ver live events.

You think they will even break even in coming years off the rights they pay?

Cricket highlights all day. ISL & PKL at night

Watch Star Sports Select channels it offers different sports other than cricket all thru the day barring 2 or 3 hours. Also other Star Sports do air non cricket sports too on a regular basis but yes cricket overpowers them on these channels, during overlapping of live content star/disney does use regular Star Sports channels for airing different sporting content.. These channels do air Pro Kabaddi, ISL, FIH Hockey, Premier League, F1, Tennis etc. too
