Already answered this...subscription revenue not enough to recover investment cost. All OTT platforms have rather low pricing in India...for popular content there would be lot of subscribers opting for starting or mid level plans hence volume helps increase subscription revenue but there r limited people who opt for higher plans to watch niche content hence subscription revenue remains rather low which is why ads r extremely necessary for such plans too.

In India large part of population r also those who just watch free content available on various OTT platforms thus for such customers there would be even more ads shown while streaming content

I don't get you. What's up with this lengthy explanation? I never said I want ad-free content for free.

Moving away from the topic. Sports18 1 has two audio feeds English and Hindi. Do you think they need seperate channels? They have licenses Sports 18 Tamil and Sports 18 Hindi.

Buddy please read again ...i clearly explained in previous 2 posts why ads r important even for subscribers who have opted for premium plans...some content can be made available ad free in such plans but certainly not an event like FIFA World Cup which costs too high for a broadcaster to acquire rights.

Lengthy explanations r needed to pit forward the answer in an elaborate manner specially if question is again raised despite already having responded earlier regarding the same.

Yes separate channels r needed in key languages and they even need Sports18 2 to accommodate all national or regional ads as well as more sporting events on TV Channels

Sony even airing pre post match show for LPL 😂😂😂 while international matches are black out.

It is time to unsubscribe Sony channels like Star's and subscribe only in weekend.
International cricket happens so often. It has lost it's importance. Viacom has skipped Abu Dhabi T10 League for FIFA World Cup.

If it doesn't make sense in a developed market like US, I don't think it is possible to offer a premium sports platform (ad-free) in India where the total addressable market is very minimal compared to US, EU.

but for that if not wrong
recording topup needs to be activated
Yes. Try to use some other buttons. I am sure pressing some single key or combination of keys will disable the scroll
pressing any one of the colour buttons( Red or green or blue) disappear "channel remove scroll" except yellow button as it's for message
