The BCCI Apex Council will decide on its association with jersey sponsor Byju's besides deliberating on Star's "media rights payment" in its emergent meeting on Monday.

It is to be noted that Star is the current holder of the media rights for Indian cricket's home season. The rights will come up for renewal after March.

As things stands if sports18 hd not add hindi audio feed then sa t20 will be only in sd viewing for hindi language viewers
 
The TATA IPL Auction that took place in Kochi on 23rd December kicked off in style as television broadcaster Star Sports recorded a 35% growth in cumulative reach for its coverage. The auction coverage was viewed by 50 million viewers on Star Sports and the total consumption stood at 1.59 billion minutes, 10% higher compared to the previous mini-auction in 2021.

Now way people watched an auction over FIFA World Cup finals when most people doesn't even knows names of half the players of their favourite teams.

Some of the matches in the deal period had to be rescheduled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
