Should Sports Networks have Regional Channels?

Disagree, no blackout of sports on OTT platform. You can even watch matches in superior quality. When broadcasters like Star pushes you to watch in Star Sports First. You can easily watch same in HD atleast on Hotstar.

Any Advise for cord cutters to view live sports or can they take DTH service again with NCF and all?

It's per planned strategy, there are lot of promos airing on Sports18 but all promo end clearly mentions Jio Cinema logo as first preference and other Viacom18 channels airing too same thing. Also Sports 18 both SD and HD had different audio feeds forcefully forcing consumers download and watch on Jio Cinema.

Only if viewers know that some sports events airing on OTT platform through Free legally. else they never paid almost all OTT platforms simply just like F1TV pro.

Still lot of people getting live sports channels cricketing season time through their DTH/Cable combo packages.

Nah, sports is what lead to growth of OTT platforms. Just look at Hotstar. They have lost a huge marketshare after they couldn't afford IPL.

Hotstar most of subscribers from telecom companies bundled plans, overall it's loss venture for them and less subscription share if we compare with Netflix or Amazon.

Both hotstar and Jio cinema are same when they're offering Free streaming but they failed technically. Only difference is Jio offers advanced features and 4K.
