Not if you pay for longer plan. Even 1 GB is somewhere around ₹7. On my ₹899 plan. I get 2.5 GB for ₹10.

Star really need to consider bringing back Dugout feed again. It was missed last year. Also Jio being on a steaming platform needs to bollywoodify Match Centre like Sony did with Extra Innings. They can even simulcast pre-show on Sports18 pushing TV audience to watch on their streaming platform JioCinema over Star Sports. It should be much better than snoozefest Star offered last 5 years.

I thought hotstar most of subscribers are due to Star soap serials or Marvel/Disney contents.

This is exactly the kind of defensive stance I get whenever I've conversation with Hotstar/Disney fans on other social platforms.

Let's see how much subscribers they shed by the end of this year as Jio has already removed Hotstar from recharge packs.

There is huge difference between DTC (Direct to Consumer) and Wholesale (Telecom/Broadband Bundling). There wont be any stickiness to the service unless the content on the platform is absolutely exclusive to it and must watch.

It's enough for 25 minutes/FHD. Satellite TV Broadcasting best ever without Bug/lag Genuine sports fans can enjoy whole match in be it Sony Sports, Star Sports, Eurosport or Sports18.
