Yeah Sony Sports Global Media Rights holder of Sri lanka Men's Cricket and they have Rights to air or syndication deal with other Broadcasters/Streaming platforms too. But I don't see Today Sony Sports Network India Channels airing any Sri lanka vs Afghanistan and Sri lanka A vs South Africa A matches.

Most contradictory interview I've ever heard from a channel head. IPL on TV couldn't even sell 100% ad inventory. Despite having impressive ratings claimed by channel head themselves. I am wondering whether this is the last cycle Star gets to keep TV rights.

If you/we have buying their same highlights airing variant price channels, till then no worry for them. Also once they start quoting more on Ad nobody interested sell inventory.

Thing is unlike Sony they don't really seem to care about subscription revenue. They still don't have a sports dedicated bouquet. They bank on their GECs to carry the sports channel on their bouquet. Very minority of audience specially non premium ones goes for ala-cartè options.
