When private broadcasters Acquired for huge money these Sports/Events sharing for National importance events signal to DD/DDFD, they forgot these things. Only solution is Broadcasters just need block Signal to DD, then Govt/DD or TRAI too understand Live On Air fees more then per day slots revenue.

BCCI should give TV rights DD directly with 90% ad revenue share and sell Digital to OTT providers.

sports channel acquire rights but don't show it live on tv channels as govt is charging extra money to show live... this is hindering many sports channels to show all sports live and pushing it on their respective OTT.... I feel all this mess is created by GOVT... their interference has spoiled sports channels in india

Govt imposes up to Rs1 lakh fee per day for coverage of live events by non-news channels

The fee applies to every live event not categorized as news or current affairs, from sports leagues such as the IPL to live programmes on entertainment channels
