Still it's not difficult work for them, SD have bigger viewership when we compare with Premium HD viewers. Can't say these strategies decline viewership of HD from SD or SD from HD.

Same audience can have same taste. So can't discriminate between SD and HD audience.

In this case Eurosports done good job compare with Sony, they acquired different sports On Air same time manged well airing on SD/HD variant without blackout, except PQ.

rather then having separate regional language channels they should add audio feeds and show different content on all channels... but main issue now is that sports channel acquire rights but don't show it live on tv channels as govt is charging extra money to show live... this is hindering many sports channels to show all sports live and pushing it on their respective OTT.... I feel all this mess is created by GOVT... their interference has spoiled sports channels in india

You are joking. Right? They have no idea what to air when. Sometimes they skip live events for ages old event.

Not joking, if live On Air happens most of time like cricket on SD and Football/cycling on HD, other broadcasters like Sony never follows this strategy, skipping most of matches.

Better strategy would be using the likes of Discovery Turbo channel.

Highlights live currently 2nd odi of afg vs sl live on ten 5

And on 8th highlights at 9:30am on ten 5
So Sony sports bought rights for highlights

When private broadcasters Acquired for huge money these Sports/Events sharing for National importance events signal to DD/DDFD, they forgot these things. Only solution is Broadcasters just need block Signal to DD, then Govt/DD or TRAI too understand Live On Air fees more then per day slots revenue.
