I don't think either Star and Viacom will even break even from IPL rights. They need to very careful when it comes to bilateral rights.

Even ICC events rights holder finds tough to breakeven as India played just 7 to 8 matches per event.

Anyway IPL 2023 subscription Revenue of Digital Streaming Rights holder bigger than Broadcast Rights holder.

IPL 2023 have no subscription fee for Digital streaming.
