After today’s Nick rebrand, I have to wonder what will be the future of certain Viacom18 brands after the merger with Star. Nick will survive, as will Disney Channel, but not so sure of Hungama.

Similarly Sports18 might not survive, but Comedy Central, Vh1 and MTV are too popular to be killed. The fact that more Sports18 HD channels weren’t launched seems to be a clear indication that Sports18 was intended to be a short-term brand.
