I also used to think same like why they waste so much bandwith and channel just for showcasing one match in different languages whereas Infotainment and Kids channel and now even English channel come with multiple audio feeds.
But, when I closely observe it's all about ad revenue. Like they showcases ads not just from popular brands accross India but many of local products, jwellery stores, retail stores and many others on their respective Regional sports channels which get them more and more ad and revenue.
