Bcoz Star India is the name of the entity under which broadcast operations will be managed however parent company name wil continue to be Disney-Star

JioStar likely to be name of merged entity and i am referring to Disney's India broadcast business which shall continue to be operate under Disney-Star branding just like Viacom18 is from Reliance..... JioStar will be having assets of both Star India and Viacom18 while managing combined operations under the Star India Private Limited identity / brand name

Disney already partner (37%) in Star India Pvt Ltd. (Jio Star), then why they operate separate business? They should launch channels in Star tv network and supply OTT content to hotstar till the end of shareholding/partnership.

Disney Star is the parent Indian company under which they have Star India as subsidiary just like Viacom18 is from Reliance so now in merged entity which may be called Jio Star both Star India and Reliance/Viacom18 r partners but all the media operations will be done under Star India Private Limited Brand Identity

I think Disney have 5 year lock-in with Star India for content sharing. Time will tell.
