At present logos are being tested…. If everything goes right then logo will be revealed on Christmas / New Year

No testing of logo has started yet, at least publicly. The favicon is not from Star or Jio end. It's simply a dummy favicon, used as a placeholder.

Guys, please keep an eye on the Star and Viacom channels. Maybe they are testing/will test their logo at night just like sony channels did before entire logo change on Diwali.

no logo is getting changed. they are not testing anything as of now.

Found this Water Purifier company using the JioStar name with trademark symbol. Being using it for years apparently looking at their FB posts.

Room for another IP rights issue after domain issue resolved? This doesn't seem to be a big company though but can indeed milk some fame & money.

they are TM , trademark are allocated to different sectors and since both companies cater different consumers it wont be an issue

I think you never observed Star India channels every program Disclaimer, it's not new thing. they using @ Star India Private limited since last two decades. Disney Star, Jio Star or any other names it's just brand trademark not company name.

They were using Star India Private Limited before Disney's involvement. When Star India officially became Disney Star, then Star India Private Limited was removed from disclaimer and replaced with Disney Star.
