Star India - Viacom18 Merger Completed

Sports18 Brand will surely not continue, they still haven't updated SIPL as the owner on their website & its schedule is not updated since atleast 2 months (showing october's schedule even in december dates) which means they stopped maintaining the website since atleast 2 months

Even colors kannada not updated to star. But the timetable is updated. They should close down sports18 channels and transfer the brand name to network 18 for sports segment publications
 
I think by Jan 1rst they will launch Jiostar website, logo & company structure officially.
Just they announced the completion of merger, but what we see is half baked. So many things needs to be concluded. The proposed channels for sale before the merger are still running, JioStar website stuck by half cooked, Fate of JioCinema & Disney+ Hotstar as well as 'Disney+' prefix needs to be cleared. Under the shadow of top end modifications still the two companies processing merger.

Colors TV, Colors Kannada, Colors Gujarati and MTV India updated website with Star while Colors Marathi, Colors Bangla, Nick not updated.

Tough competition? I'm not even seen sports 18 channels in barc ..i Guess no one knows the viewership rating of sports 18 , even they not even have seperate youtube channel in the name of sports 18 , jiocinema sports is only sports youtube channel from Viacom 18, ambani also given most priorities only on ott

Buddy, Viacom18 still exists.... U r getting confused and mixing up different things..... JioStar is a merger between Viacom18 (Reliance), Star India (Disney) and all of digital broadcast assets of Reliance were transferred to Viacom18 which then was merged with Star India..... So both exist as shareholders in the entity..... Now for operational purpose it was decided that all channels of merged entity would function under the Star India Private Limited branding /company name hence all of the TV Channels licences of Viacom18 were transferred to Star India thereby u r seeing Viacom18 branding being removed from onscreen as well as websites of channels..... Star India being more bigger and prominent brand/company among the two hence this decision would have been taken and i had said earlier too that those saying Jio branding will take centerstage will not hold true similarly Disney will not exit JV as many members r anticipating it to happen later on
