Star India - Viacom18 Merger Completed

On Monday, Star announced that the eight matches scheduled between January 22 and February 12 will be broadcast live on Star Sports and Disney+ Hotstar. However, this does not rule out the original platforms - Sports18 and JioCinema- from streaming and broadcasting the games but it appears, though, that Star's platforms will serve as the primary broadcasters.

However, sources within the integrated company indicated that while the series may also be available on the original platforms. Going forward the Champions Trophy, an ICC property bagged by Disney Star, could be available on JioCinema and Sports 18.
