Then they can offair shows that don't work and replace them with good remakes like sreemoyee, karthika deepam and pandian stores

But star never make channel by naming it with particular state name or regional language name like zee nd viacom did it in every regional space like zee marathi, colors kannada etc
Star always prefer unique word from that particular regional language like pravah, jalsha(as this are the only original channels of star all others are acquired channels nd now star kirano will be third original regional channel by star)

I thought Utkal was a unique name and it resonates with Odisha. Besides no network whether local or national has used the word Utkal for any channel

Honestly speaking I think Star should have christened this channel as Star Utkal. Although this name is sounding nice.

Reason is that Utkal has a resonance with Odisha. It is unique. Moreover no other local or national Tv network has any channel called Utkal. So that's why.

BTW I had created some packaging graphics. I have taken a cue from Lord Jagannath idol for the same.

Assamese market is currently best for GEC launch by Star or Zee. It is a profitable Market.

Currently Assamese GEC market dominating by one an only "Rang"

Thanks, I have actually used the eyes and mouth of Lord Jagannath as seen in the Idol at Puri Mandir.

Evn tho i havent seen odisha culture much but seeing graphics it instantly gave me odisha vibes
