Does that mean that a channel with ₹1 MRP should be offered in alacarte with that same price or lower by all DTH?
What about FTA channels?

It depends on DTHs. But since it's a ₹1 channel so they may give it at it's original MRP.
Major broadcasters have converted their FTA channels into Pay channels. 100 FTA channels will be provided as basepack at ₹130.

Now Star had 6 hindi movie channels,now its going to 8 and while UTV bouquet joins total number of movie channels become 11.We can expect some re-brand and shut down in future.

They are portraying that the content on Star Sports 1 is being localized in regional channels. I do support the removal of '1' in regional channels but who knows if they have plans to start Star Sports 2 Hindi, SS2 Tamil, SS2 Telugu, SS2 Kannada and so on!
