With lots of fun, diyas, crackers, mithaiyan, drama, laughter, splendid acts and performances of your favorite television artists, STAR Plus gears up to celebrate the biggest festival of the year in grandeur and in style! STAR Plus welcomes the festive season this October with a week-long celebration starting from 17th October-21st October at 6:30 pm only on STAR Plus!
Diwali is not just the festival of lights, but also a celebration of the victory of good over evil, light over darkness, and anger over friendship. Diwali is that day of the year when you let go of all inhibitions and differences and revel in the feeling of oneness with your family and friends; and that’s exactly what Diwali Rishton Ki Mithas will bring to you – Peedhiyan Anek, Tyohaar Ek.
The first episode of the show kick-starts with a grand Lakshmi Pooja with the best of dancers in the industry – Sanjeeda Sheikh, Shayantani Ghosh and Daljeet Kaur, all three portraying three incarnations of Goddess Lakshmi.
The second episode reiterates an evergreen love story between Akshara and Naitik with beautiful romantic song. Meanwhile, get ready for a marvelous aerial stunt by multi talented Akshat, Shakti and Mukti as they jump from one side of the harness to the other, all without much support in the air. Well, Diwali on television was never so adventurous!
And if the celebrations are getting brighter, it is time for some namkeen shor-sharaba as Bhai-Duuj brings to you some light-hearted moments between Ahem-Kinjal and Ayush-Navya and some mind-boggling Antakshari between Suhana-Ishaan and the Kashyap family. Meanwhile, the chatpati Rashi will take the centre-stage for a spectacular Krishna Raas-Leela act while the moonlight will recall some romantic moments of karwa chauth between Gopi-Ahem and Navya-Anant.
Time to hold your breath for the weekend special mithas as King Khan and his chammak challo make a special appearance with best wishes and set the stage on fire with their latest track from Ra.One and leaving everyone awed and desiring for more!
From one peedhi to another, the celebrations just get louder and louder as the favourite jodis and families get together for a quick high just before a beautiful Lakshmi pooja and some naughty creaking crackers. Well, Diwali Rishton Ki Mithas simply celebrates love and happiness while commemorating the season of festivity by lightening everybody's spirits! Enjoy the show with your family as Anek Peedhiyan come together to lighten up ek tyohaar!
