With the start of the New Year, Star Plus is making some changes to its programming line-up by launching some new shows.
After releasing a new show ‘Meri Durga’ last week, Star Plus is set to launch a romantic supernatural thriller, titled ‘Koi Laut Ke Aya Hai’, in March.
Star Plus is also shifting the time band of its finite series ‘P.O.W: Bandi Yuddh Ke’ on 13 February. The high-octane family drama that used to air at 10.30 pm every Monday-Saturday will now be shifted to the 11-pm slot.

The 10.30 pm slot will feature new show ‘Dil Boley Oberoi’, which is a spin-off of the channel’s popular show ‘Ishqbaaz’. The new spin-off will be launched on 13 February. The show will go beyond the original characters in ‘Ishqbaaz’—Shivaay (Nakuul Mehta), Rudra (Leenesh Mattoo) and Omkara Oberoi (Kunal Jaisingh). It will explore characters other than Shivaay (Nakuul Mehta) and Anika (Surbhi Chandna) and focus on the relationship between Rudra
and Omkara.

‘Ishqbaaz’, which is produced by 4 Lions Films, was initially a story of three brothers but later morphed into a romantic drama. The channel recently released a promo of the show featuring two main characters.

The time band for ‘Koi Laut Ke Aya Hai’, which will air from March, is not known. Produced by Sphere Origins, the show stars Shoaib Ibrahim, Surbhi Jyoti, Sharad Kelkar and Shaleen Malhotra in lead roles. Kelkar will play the visually challenged brother of the lead actress Surbhi Jyoti.

Star Plus recently launched ‘Meri Durga’ as a replacement for ‘Suhani Si Ek Ladki’ in the weekday 6.30-pm slot.

‘P.O.W: Bandi Yuddh Ke’, which will occupy the late prime time band, is scheduled to run for five months. It is based on an original series by Keshet Broadcasting, called ‘Prisoners of War’, directed by Gideon Raff and licensed by Keshet International.
