Sorry for the late reply but I don’t know if only the Star World licence is going to be replaced or Star World HD as well. And knowing how Disney has delayed the launch of so many HD channels, I don’t know if or whether Star will launch SS1 Tamil HD soon. Star World Premiere HD was planned to be removed from Tata Sky but that did not happen due to indecision by Star.

HD channel price_19rs + GST (HD equal to two SD)

If they have interest to launch HD channels then better if they shutdown SD Sports channels,
SD + HD full space waste.

hd = 4 SD Channels in mpeg4
4 X 576i in 4:3 OR 1 1080i HD
catering sd boxes is more important as hd boxes can play sd channels but reverse is not possible

Infinity is best channel it must continue

It's not shutting down. Neither is Comedy Central or Vh1. They are too successful to shut down. Maybe just SD feed. So operators can downscale the HD feed for SD viewers like they use to do for FYI TV18. These channels comes handy to promote their live events which would be back at full scale when country is vaccinated.
