As D2H keeps on adding different channels, it will always want to add SS2 as there is demand.
As far as STAR is concerned, they have business interest in Tata-Sky.
Business interests work in tandem with each other to drive business. Decision making is influenced by business interests, different market forces & market position.
Anyone working with Tata-Sky/d2h or having any insider information may be knowing the facts about SS2 addition.

This is probably the biggest mystery of 2013.

They have almost all channels from the STAR bouquet but not SS2.

As posted by me in another thread based on confirmation recieved from Star Sports affiliation head who does deals with dth and mso operators, the issue is not at Star end but solely with d2h. Maybe somebody in the forum who knows any senior person at d2h can find the real reason for this. It's ludicrous that they have fox sports news which is not on any other dth and which only repeats news every 15 minutes but not star sports 2 which exclusively shows live sporting events. Simply mind boggling.

So there may some sort of condition that D2H is finding very difficult to implement. Otherwise there should not be any tech problem.
