I hope SWP HD is kicked out for SS3 to launch. Really needed in the age of OTT. Star/Disney has a vice-like grip on English shows anyway.

Make SWP HD like FX with shows edgy shows catering to man along with some classic sitcoms. I don't know why no one is seeking for Seinfeld tv rights anymore.

Already they r doing so for about 15 or 16 months. SWP is airing hard hitting dramas, horror and quirky humour based programs. It should not shut down. Star World has taken comedy route as i had been suggesting all along for past few months, only way to succeed in OTT age

Waiting for star sports1 Tamil HD. Seems like star network is not interested in launching HD versions for regional sports channels. I got this info through a reply for my mail.

The network Not got licence. Maybe they replacing Star Sports 1 Marathi To Star Sports 3 HD.
It will better if they launch a music channel for hindi market, then launching SS3 HD.

I will be very happy if 1st Star Bharat HD is axed, they r continuig it for no actual reason while shutting nice channels like Nat Geo People HD. In my opinion SS 3 HD will take place of Baby TV HD which though part of bouquet still unavailable all over. Question arises is whether like Nat Geo Tamil/Telugu, Star Sports Marathi this new channel will remain a non starter or there will be takers.

By the way even though Star India is struggling in English Movie or Entertainment genre on TV but it is managing to gain well on its OTT platform. Irony is that Times Network gets more ratings for later runs of movies than what Star, Zee, Turner manage thru premiere screening, i am one of them who prefers to watch movies on Times Network bcoz of excellent presentation and transmission quality
