Star World unveils July content lineup
English GEC Star World and Star World HD is all set to premiere ‘The Family and Rosewood’ and air the latest seasons of ‘Modern Family’ and ‘The Simpsons’ all through July on ‘Star World Weekend Binge’.
The broadcaster will air ‘Modern Family Season 7’ on 2 and 3 July and ‘The Simpsons Season 27′ on 9 and 10 July. ‘Modern Family’, the multi Golden Globe and Primetime Emmy Award winning series, is centred on the lives of patriarch Jay Pritchett and his large, dysfunctional family.
‘Modern Family’ will be followed by a rollicking season of the longest-running comedy TV series ever, ‘The Simpsons’. The new season promises to bring back the signature blend of insightful humour and inept family dynamics with its humorous parodies of American culture and society.
The channel will premiere drama series ‘The Family’ Season 1 starring Joan Allen on 16 and 17 July. The show follows the lives of the Warren family when their abducted son comes back after almost a decade. Joan Allen plays the mother who fuels her political career with her son’s disappearance.
The month ends with two consecutive weekends of the crime procedural drama series ‘Rosewood’ on 23 and 24 July and 30 and 31 July.
Set in Miami, the show features private pathologist Dr. Beaumont Rosewood Jr. who solves the most complex crimes along with honest police detective Annalise Villa.
