STB not powering up

Hello friends,
I've purchased Tatasky HD STB in October 2013. Since today morning it is not powering up. No lights are activated/ON even though power plug light is ON/red.
I've scheduled for installer visit with the help of customer care. What could be problem? STB is dead.

DE INSTALL CLEAN THE CABLE PORT & VIEWER CARS & HIS SLOT FOR CLEAN CLOTH & THEN RE -INSERT CARD & ALL THE CONNECTION RE -
CONNECT & THEN SWITCH ONE YOUR STB I THINK & SLOW YOUR PROBLEM.IN MY VIEW

Thanks. I did disconnect > clean > reconnect power cable since I thought it is power issue. I will try your method also.
