Subtitles in English for Hindi movie channels

It will be good if they switch on the English subtitles for the channels showing Hindi films. Many people down south would not understand Hindi fully.at least the miniplex HD channel should carry subtitles for a start

I think Star Gold Asia provides English subtitles

But may not happen in India itself as Hindi is the major language :s

First they need to implement user switchable subtitles, where customers can themselves switch on or off subtitles as per their liking.

All Hindi movie DVDs include subtitles. The broadcasting channel has to just switch it on like they do for English movies.
The subtitles can be in a small font like in Sony pix channel.

It's a good suggestion ; but Hindi people may not like English subtitle for Hindi movies :dodgy

Yeah, Star Gold Asia, Star Plus Asia, Colors Asia, Zee Cinema International, Zee TV Asia all provide English subtitles. I am not sure whether this would be implemented on Indian feeds as Hindi is a major language
