Sun Direct, dth arm of Sun TV Group today reported its FY11 results. There is a 48 per cent jump in its consolidated net profit to Rs 769.76 crore for year ended March 31, 2011 as compared to the same period previous fiscal.
Sun Direct had a net profit of Rs 519.90 crore in the year ended March 31, 2010 according to the data it submitted to BSE.
This year, the company’s consolidated income stood at Rs 2,013.46 crore, a 39% increase from Rs 1,452.84 crore posted in the previous fiscal.
On a standalone basis, the firm posted a 36 per cent increase in its net profit to Rs 772.22 crore in the year ended March 31, 2011. In the previous fiscal, it had a net profit of Rs 567.38 crore.
Sun Direct TV Network’s standalone net income stood at Rs 1,923.71 crore, a 38 per cent up from Rs 1,395.01 crore in the year ended March 31, 2010.
