Sun Marathi will try to be available on all major DTH platforms (as per the bottom line in the pic)

But Sony Marathi when it launched Sony could advertise on Set, Sab, Max everywhere
SUN can't advertise on telugu tamil channels

But still if they do good promotion
Rural audience will shift there... And serials like mulgi zali ho trp might come down you never know...

Aastad Kale had played father role in serial Anandi too on Sony Marathi and played it really well and the same female lead as in this serial was his wife in that serial too
So don't underestimate him..
He is a good actor

Seriously....all promos looks like specially created for rural mkt...productvalues doesn't look that good...let's just wait and watch...

I have seen promos of all serials promo & Review accordingly:

Negative -

1) Jau Nako Dur Baba - aastad kale as father of lead actress and actress overacting in promo.
2) Sundari - worst promo, casting and lead actress.
3) Shegaviche yogi gajanan- needed at early slot 5/6pm.
4) Kanyadan - casting of girls not good.
5) abhalachi maya - promo & lead cast not good, story not Impressive.

Positive -

1) Nandhini mega serial dubbed in Marathi.

Disadvantages for Sun Marathi:

1) This channel is not having Urban focus more rural serials and promo & cast of most of serials itself not interesting in this way they can't go ahead and get urban viewers much only limited till rural & ddfd.
2) Less programming it was needed 6-11pm original, dubbed in others time.
3) No reality shows
4) promos not impressive
5) no strong casting

6) No sponsors. Just like Sun Bangla. While all other Sun Network channels have 5-6 sponsors for their shows, they have none.

You cannot run a channel without sponsors in your shows. Only Doordarshan can do that.
