Dolby digital plus is 7.1 system output & currently available in some STAR channels..

DD+ will support 5.1 as well as 7.1 | Compression 32-Kbps to 6mb/s. (need HDMI higher versions)

DD will support up to 5.1 channels | Compression 32kbps - 640kbps.

So if the Audio bit rate is more than 640 kbps .. we can say it is DD+ .

I'm unsure about the Sun HD bit rate. Jayanji or someone can throw some light in this regard.

Airtel's EPG is not too great. Series recording is not reliable even if available.

It's dolby digital only with 384 kbps

Senior members correct me if I am wrong.
As per my knowledge adtv provide dolby digit only.All star channels orginaly available in dd+ but airtel provide dolby digit only,I am sure about this because my tv support dd+ but it showes only dolby digital.
Correct me if I am wrong Brothers.
