Breaking Sun TV plans to convert Sun Life as second Tamil GEC from 7th October

If they want to reach wider audience they should rename, they can effectively use this channels as premiering movies and Ktv should be used as mixed movie channels(showing late 80s movies from sun lifr)

Though sun having huge library of movies they lag in using those, they never telecast daily new movies(after premiere they rarely shows that movie soon compareyto vijay) also sometimes they repeat the movies in a month too if they rectify this things this channel become hit else nothing will happen

The Sun TV Network is planning to launch new channels in Telugu to gain market share from youth, said SL Narayan, Group CFO of the company.

“One of the things that we are doing to correct the market share loss is to now position as second general entertainment channels (GEC) in both, Tamil and Telugu,” Narayanan said.
