Discussion Tata Play Signal Level Mapping | Share Your Signal Levels

I am finally getting 100% SQ across all 3 tuners that is T1, T2 and T3 on Tata Play + HD DVR STB. Is it because of Sat CR LNB ???

Also the signals are high only at night (100%) then reduces to 90% during day time.

Dear Members, I am creating this thread so that we Tata Sky users can post the signal levels details of our STB here. This would be really helpful to all users (existing as well as new) so that they need not ask any member again and easy to find all details under one thread.

Also this would also help us all to know if we are receiving optimum signal levels so that if anyone receives below average/poor signal levels they can rectify it ASAP.

It would not be easy to find and post details of all 24 TPs, So we need only 4 TPs to know if we are getting optimum signal levels.

Provide these details for the channels mentioned below

LCN 100: Ch 100 Gold
LCN 1919: Pitaara
LCN 2031: Test INSAT
LCN 2032: Test GSAT

Feel free to post snaps (hide your Sub ID and STB/Card ID before posting) those who do not wish to post pics can follow the below format to post their details:

Format to post Signal Levels:

STB Name/Model No:
Channel:
Signal Strength:
Signal Level:
Signal Quality:
CNR/BER:

Signal Strength specifies the length of the cable from Dish to STB, longer the cable lesser the Signal Strength.
Signal Level is the numerical value if the Signal Strength.
Signal Quality specifies the quality of the signal received by the dish from the satellite
MER/CNR/BER is the Modulation Error Rate / Carrier-to-Noise Ratio / Bit Error Rate which specifies the signal to noise. Higher the value the better

What Should be the average Signal Levels:

There are 24 TPs not all of them are of the saplme level. There are some TPs that are weak while some are strong, reasons known to the satellites itself, as this is a universal thing

The average Signal Strength and Signal Quality for the following 4 TPs are:

100 Gold (100)
Signal Strength: 50%
Signal Quality: 60%

Pitaara (1919)
Signal Strength: 50%
Signal Quality: 50%

Test INSAT (2031)
Signal Strength: 50%
Signal Quality: 40%

Test GSAT (2032)
Signal Strength: 50%
Signal Quality: 70%

Not put Signal Level, MER/CNR/BER as they are the numerical values of Signal Strength and Signal Quality itself

Request every TS users to kindly post their Signal Level Details here.

Note: Can modify our signal level details if it increases/decreases, Also can edit seasonally like in monsoon it may reduce so that members know.
My Tata Play+ DVR all of sudden lost signal on T2 4-5 days ago. Earlier I used to change TP by going to system settings Manu and typing some numbers, which I forgot now then pressing select button. A new page appears showing all TPs to choose. Can anyone please help me to resolve the issue and give me the numbers?

My Tata Play+ DVR lost signal of T2 how to get it back? Moreover earlier I used to change TP by clicking a number while system settings menu appears on the screen which I forgot. I think it was 001or something like it.

My old LNB was damaged due to an accidental hit on it...Replaced it with a New one...The technician claimed it to be a Super LNB....

Here's the signal level I'm getting(for reference, signal strength and signal quality both are increased)

You need to press 0 followed by 1 in system settings to open installer setup
