Can't really believe in CC. Especially when technology is concerned. They have been known to provide incorrect info.

Insat 4a is getting exhausted ts don't have a choice...

its an ieee project..it proves that, we can achieve capacity shortage by using frequency reuse method, by changing polarity

If TS is indeed using frequency reuse tech, we will know if they continue with all 24 TPs with different channels on the V and H TPs. Somehow I think this is a distinct possibility which cannot be discounted especially with TS "upgrade" commitment. They are always the first to employ the latest technology.

Difficult to say what is happening. We don't know what has actually transpired between TS and ISRO. They may shift to Gsat with 24 TPs using frequency reuse for all we know. Or they may continue with INSAT for the moment and switch to AS in the future.

Why will tata sky use vertical polarity in insat4a as the life remaining of insat4a is too less to serve the purpose. So either they will switch to gsat10 and continue to use it and hope for one more satellite in same position from isro to help tata sky to increase the capacity. OR use the gsat as interim measure and move to asiasat for much more bandwidth capacity.

Or think it in this way that as the life of Insat 4A comes to an end that's why they are testing new tech(Both polarization) on this so that on new sat they can use both H and V polarization simultaneously which will make bandwidth capacity twice ;)

O wow ;) What a thought bro. :tup
