You are right.. But this Stb special degained for Tata Sky Broadband & IPTV user's... Broadband services already running few citis like Bhopal, Delhi etc
 
Yes, internet is a must. If you have a broadband unlimited plan then its icing on the cake.

Many functions of Android OS and Online streaming service apps can't work without internet.
 
Whatever STB Tata Sky launches, I'm not going to switch from my awesome HD+ Transfer STB. Its rock solid STB. (y):cool:

A new Airtel Internet TV is also in the work for 2019.
Same hardware and specs (also from Technicolor) as this new Tata Sky STB, with a few exceptions.

LG built the first Internet TV but they since sold this unit to Technicolor.
